Welcome! I'm glad you stopped by!

Thanks for checking out our webpage! Fix It Sister is owned and operated by Teri Koski, a local Spokane woman who got tired of contractors that didn't show up, wouldn't return calls, and the ones that wouldn't take a woman seriously when discussing a project. Teri is a person driven by learning and self challenge, so when she couldn't find anyone to help her learn things, she taught herself.

She is now twenty years into her home repair journey, having done several projects for not only herself, but also family and friends along the way.  During that twenty years, she had a full time career in social services, working with elderly and disabled people. She was a weekend warrior when it came to home projects, and came to know some of the aisles of our local hardware stores by heart.

When a series of events had her question her career of choice, she decided to make a change and make the hobby she had loved for two decades into her new career. We have heard that having a Handy WOMAN around town is unusual. Well, at one time, so was the automobile and the TV. Progress is a wonderful thing!
